So I was sent this DIY spa mask to review and I'm more than glad that I accepted it! I found a new holy grail product and it's the Fairy Trip Spa Mask! If you've been lurking around Instagram or Facebook, you must have seen many ambassadors promoting this product. Now if you're skeptical about it, I'll share my honest review about this product. Let's start!

WHAT IS IT?

Basically, the Fairy Trip Spa Mask is like a fun diy mask making set. The ingredients for this mask originated from Bulgaria and Rome! The raw materials such as flower petals are purely extracted from plants naturally and therefore, it contains NO excessive chemicals! If you're worried about it containing chemicals then fret not! It doesn't contain alcohol, preservatives nor any additional fragrances. I've seen people eating the already made mask as well to prove that it's all really natural and made from plants!
Oh and not to mention, PREGNANT WOMEN can use it on their belly as well! It's really THAT safe.

WHAT IS IN THE SET?
You'll be given a FREE bowl and FREE spatula plus 5 packets of the liquid and 5 packets of the raw ingredients in powder form.
There are two types of mask, one is the Bulgaria Rose spa mask and the other one is the Chamomile spa mask. In case you're not sure of which one to get, don't worry. Their people will consult you before suggesting to you which one is more suitable for your skin! I was debating on which one to get until they came to my rescue.

I got the one in Chamomile because it's stated that it helps with replenishing your acne, reducing acne scar, reducing face redness, repairs your skin after being exposed to the sun, and also it is anti-inflammatory! It is specifically made for sensitive skin like mine. I have a lot acne scars and I have to walk home from school everyday, so my skin needs some anti sun exposure help. HAHAHAH.

The Bulgaria Rose mask has a lot of benefits as well even though my skin was more suitable for the Chamomile mask, I'd love to try the rose one someday! The rose mask provides moisture for your face and hydrating it while also brightening it at the same time! Some asians are known to have really yellowish toned skin and this is perfect for them as well! It helps will whitening your skin and also reducing yellow tones. Not to forget, it also helps to control oil production on your face!

HOW TO USE


I usually put half packet of powder and half packet of liquid and mix them together until they are thick. It's better to put in more powder than liquid! Keep in mind about that. If you like it thinner and wanna save more, you can put 1 tablespoon of powder and 1 tablespoon of the liquid and mix them together. Always use a 1:1 ratio.
Just apply it to your face using the spatula provided like how you'd paint something on! Except this time, you paint on your face. Avoid your hairline or getting them onto your hair because it can get messy and hard to remove them!


This is how it looks like when dried and just peel them off like how I did! If your mask is too thin and hard to remove, apply a little warm water onto your face and rub them off.

MY REVIEW AND EXPERIENCE
I really really like this mask because it really did the job as in providing my skin moisture! Unlike normal sheet masks, which makes your face super sticky (I really dislike the sticky feeling), the Fairy Trip doesn't make your skin feels sticky at all. In fact, it made my skin felt super soft like tofu and it felt really clean and moisturized. I also noticed my pores got a little smaller each time after using the mask. I let my mother, who loves to criticise masks because she has A LOT of them, try the mask and she instantly fell in love with it as well. My skin felt really smooth after using the mask as well. (I AM NOT PAID TO SAY ALL OF THESE)
Oh and it smells EXACTLY like how chamomile would have smelled like. It has a really wonderful scent and I'm really happy about that. //cries
The only con though, is that I wouldn't suggest you to use it a day before an important event. Reason is because it makes you face breakout afterwards, which is SUPPOSED to happen because the chamomile mask is SUPPOSED to help release toxins and detox. After a few days of usage, you'll notice the acne will all be gone and you have to continue using the mask to maintain that!
